Artist Rachael Dalzell with one of her signature bright and cheerful landscape paintings

Welcome to October and despite the evenings drawing in and the leaves beginning to fall we are delighted to share Rachael Dalzell’s new collection.

Rachael has been busy over the last few months and has produced a beautiful new series of paintings based on the landscapes of Norfolk. Her work has recently been acquired by the Agnes Gund collection in New York, and by Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle for their permanent collection. She is also listed as one of The Affordable Art Fairs bestselling artists this year.

Rachael’s new collection has captured the essence of summer, the beautiful colours of the flowers, the walks along the cliffs of the Norfolk coast and paddling down the river amongst nature. The vibrancy in the pictures will keep summer alive in your homes through these cooler seasons. We asked Rachael what inspires her paintings….

“I’m fascinated by the shapes and colours of grasses, flowers and trees and of how they change with the landscape through the seasons. I love to be out when the sun is low or when the sky is bright and clear, and the light is at its most magical.  It’s these moments, when the beauty of the landscape is lifted, that I’m trying to capture and share with others.”
