Antonio is an elegant figurative sculpture of the male form by Nando Kallweit.

Modelled on modern postures but with a nod to the importance of heritage through the stylised Egyptian-influenced head.

Nando carved the marque for the body from a piece of oak using a small chain saw. The marque is then used to make the cavity for a sand and clay cast bronze. The figure therefore retains the cut marks and wood grain of the original carving and give it a very organic feel.
Antonio is produced in a small edition of 25 pieces and is happy alone or as a pair with his female counterpart Patricia. Nando hammers his mark into the base as well as stamping the edition number.
